Website/Content/Design & Layout for a Full-Service Excavation Company
BACKGROUND: In the Fall of 2020, I was approached by the owner of a highly-regarded, commercial/residential landscaping contractor in Greater Pittsburgh.
GOAL: Reinvent his website to attract more customers.
MOTIVATION: In his 20+ years in business, his customer-base was mostly word-of-mouth and the work he did far exceeded his competitors abilities. He had a website built that he did not rely and he was built some 15 years ago - with no updates.
Yet - when the pandemic hit in 2020 - the owner began to realize his site needed a major overhaul. There was a major influx in online searches for home remodeling with the world under shut-down. There was a significant growth when commercial business invested in remodeling and repairs during a time foot-traffic was at a near standstill.
The owner knew if he wanted to continue to dominate the industry - it was time for a new website.

BACKGROUND: In 2021 - my husband and I embarked on a journey of starting a handyman business.
MOTIVATION. Outside of the true need for a handyman in our area, I knew if we wanted to stand out we'd have to more than just drop business cards off at the local church bulletin board.
We needed a site. We needed social media. We needed a brand.
GOALS: Build a Brand so the average family, single-parent and individual could relate to and feel safe enough to invite into their home.
Create a visually stunning and informative Website to grab their attention Secret! it's not easy marketing toilet replacement services or garbage disposal installation!
Connect with viewers - mainly woman - with relatable home décor Blog topics, in order to get a following.
Utilize Instagram/Facebook for ad generation and
catchy posts.
Build an Online Store, create Product Descriptions,
stage photos, and Manage Payments.

Being "the voice" for someone is not a skill everyone possesses. Being an individual voice for multiple client's- is a craft.
To create site content or a blog - to market products and services - you must have range. You must be able to convey what the client's message using the right tone, industry knowledge + fervor! You must understand SEO an other facets of understanding the audience.
You must be passionate.

BACKGROUND: In 2023, I joined a team of 30+
Project Managers at large corporation in which my role was fully remote.
MOTIVATION: Myself and a few other coworkers - whom were also fairly new employees - found it hard to network with our team members. The "water cooler" conversations were a thing of the past, no more "Hey - let's go to lunch" and no more Thursday Happy Hours!
We needed a way to get engaged with one another.
